Whoever said Americans are the only ones who can make ribs haven't yet tasted the "Barbies," as they're called Down Under, of Aussom Aussie Australian BBQ. Owner/founder Paul MacKay is quite the character and has been cooking up a storm for the last 25 years with unique recipes that include their tasty fruit-based barbeque sauce. And yep, mate, the company is indeed based in Sydney with a U.S. outpost in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Since Joey Sutphen took over his family-owned Texas barbeque business that was founded more than 60 years ago, he's taken the family's BBQ recipe to hundreds of rib events throughout the country. Texas Thunder is sure to win hundreds more loyal fans to their savory cooking expertise.

Uncle Bub's might be one of the "youngest" rib vendors on the block, but you'd never guess it from experiencing the sauces, slabs and other menu items from this Westmont, Ill., eatery that launched in 1997. Their reputation among rib aficionados grows each year!
